The Baldwin Group, a nationwide Registered Investment Advisor, is seeking an Advisor to join our Financial Services team. As a Wealth Management Financial Advisor, you will build and deepen client relationships, deliver comprehensive planning, and manage portfolios using Baldwin's integrated advice platform. You'll collaborate across practice groups to protect assets, optimize incomes, and help clients achieve long-term financial outcomes.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support senior wealth advisors with day-to-day service for individual and household clients, including preparation of meeting materials, financial planning reports, and follow-up documentation.
Assistin developingcomprehensive financial plansfocused on goals such as wealth accumulation, retirement readiness, education funding, risk management, tax-aware strategies, and estate considerations.
Help withportfolio construction and monitoring, including gathering data, updating performance and allocation reports, and organizing recommendations aligned with client goals, risk profiles, and time horizons.
Participate inclient meetings and review cycles, taking notes, preparing summaries, and ensuringtimelycompletion of agreed-upon action items to reinforce trust and retention.
Respond to routineclient inquiriesrelated to accounts, statements, transfers, administrative requests, and basic planning questions, escalating complex issues appropriately and ensuring professional,timelyfollow-up.
Learn and effectively use Baldwin's planning, CRM, and investment platforms to support client onboarding, account maintenance, reporting, and business development activities.
Coordinate with internal specialists across wealth, retirement, and insurance to help deliver integrated solutions that protect assets,optimizeincome, and support long-term financial outcomes for clients.
Maintainaccurateand organizedclient files, meeting notes, and compliance documentation, following internal policies, regulatory requirements, and fiduciary standards.
Proactively build foundational knowledge of investments, capital markets, tax considerations, and planning strategies, staying current on changes thatimpactclients' financial plans.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain basic investment and financial planning concepts in clear, practical language.
Service-oriented mindset with anoutgoing, professional demeanorand a strong drive for sales support, business development, and relationship management in a client-facing environment.
Foundational understanding ofinvestment principles, asset allocation, risk/return tradeoffs, and personal financial planning concepts, with the desire to deepenexpertisein advanced wealth strategies.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, andmaintainaccuraterecords in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort working with data and reports (e.g., performance reports, statements, allocations) and translating information into clear summaries or talking points for advisors and clients.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, banking, or a related client service role (internships, co-ops, or equivalent experience will be considered).
Demonstrated experience in customer service, sales support, or relationship management, ideally in a professional or financial services environment, witha track recordof supporting revenue growth and client retention.
