The Associate Americas Brand Commercialization is an entry-level brand role within The Walt Disney Company, ideal for someone who is passionate about brands and keen to build a career in business management, strategy and brand. The primary focus of the role is the timely and accurate review of brand assets and marketing collateral to ensure alignment with Disneyโ€™s global standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound brand judgement, time management skills, and the ability to manage volume with pace and consistency. This role offers exposure to how brand, retail, licensing, and marketing teams collaborate across the Americas, making it a strong foundation for someone looking to grow into broader brand or strategy responsibilities over time. The role supports the Americas region (North America and Latin America) and reports to the Manager, Americas Brand Commercialization and is based in Glendale, CA.

Responsibilities
  • Brand Development Support development of brand plans, brand commercialization update decks, and brand direction documents
  • Support updates for internal and external partners by coordinating data collection
  • Identify additional product opportunities in partnership with brand, licensing, category, retail and sales teams
  • Assist with brand approvals and clearances
  • Apply brand standards consistently to protect brand integrity across the Americas for Disney and Pixar.
  • Partners Support marketing and brand review process with cross functional partners including reviewing submissions, relaying feedback and elevating to appropriate teams
  • Manage OPA/Marketing submissions including review and approvals of consumer-facing marketing and retail assets from licensees and retail partners, ensuring they meet brand guidelines.
  • Support Marketing and PR with timely review of press releases, marketing activation submissions, collateral, copy, and content
  • Communication and Sales Tools Support development, maintenance and distribution of brand tools including brand plans, pitch decks, trend sheets, and presentations
  • Support regional programs by tracking and reporting region activity
  • General Support Taskforce meeting coordination including Agenda generation, recap notes/action steps, follow ups
  • Manage approval workflows, systems, and timelines, escalating when work is tracking off schedule or needs additional review.
  • Look for ways to improve processes and use systems more efficiently
  • Other tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of brand, franchise, business and/or marketing experience (including professional internships)
  • Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, Keynote & PowerPoint, asset management software, and design software such as Canva.
  • Familiarity with AI Tools such as Claude, CoPilot and ChatGPT.
  • Ability to create engaging and compelling presentations, and demonstrated ability to craft story with the ability to motivate both internal and external partners.
  • Experience building decks preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and confident presence
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate, communicate, influence and persuade multiple levels across the organization
  • Experience performing independent research, brainstorms and gathering insights and/or trends.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with the skills to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working through a matrix structure to deliver the end solution
  • Agile and responsive โ€“ can thrive in ambiguous business situations.
  • Understanding of the Disney brands and the broader organization
  • Administrative experience including basic office tasks such as meeting coordination, agenda creation, notes and actions steps, routing of materials, research and insights work, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (highly preferred written and verbal communication).
  • Experience managing digital approval systems and creating or maintaining workflows
  • Cross-functional knowledge both internally and externally working across departments such as marketing, brand, legal, licensing and more.
  • Experience working with consumer products (softlines and hardlines) and interacting with licensees
  • Ability to interact with a variety of levels of decision makers and staff.
Required Education

Bachelorโ€™s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $72,000.00 to $96,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidateโ€™s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
