Lead Video Content Creator (Summer Contract)

Arya Health

New York, NY • On-site

Full-time

Posted 7 days ago

Job description

We Move Fast. So Should You.
At Arya Health, we're building the entire non-clinical operational stack for post-acute care - intelligent automation across recruiting, compliance, intake, scheduling, retention, and more.
This is not an internship or assistant role; this is a lead creative position. We are hiring a Lead Video Content Creator to take full ownership of Arya's short-form video strategy across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
You'll have a high degree of creative autonomy and will work directly with the founders to establish Arya's brand voice. Rather than following a pre-made playbook, you'll prototype formats, test narrative hooks, and build the foundation for Arya's video presence.
What You'll Own
As Arya's one-person production engine, you will drive all aspects of our video content. Your responsibilities include:
  • Creative Strategy: Define and shape Arya's visual tone, storytelling approach, and content pillars from scratch.
  • Rapid Prototyping: Ideate, shoot, edit, and publish short-form video concepts, treating social platforms as a lab to test what resonates.
  • End-to-End Production: Independently film and edit product explainers, founder-led content, and social-first brand videos.
  • Narrative Translation: Break down complex product features or B2B customer pain points into simple, engaging, and human-centric stories.
  • Format Experimentation: Build content calendars and rigorously test different editing styles, hooks, visual compositions, and distribution strategies.
  • Asset Repurposing: Maximize value from long-form content by transforming demos or founder interviews into high-impact, bite-sized social clips.

The Ideal Profile
We're seeking a creative technologist or digital storyteller who thrives in ambiguity and moves quickly. You're likely a great fit if you:
  • Are a current student or recent graduate of an interdisciplinary creative program (like NYU ITP) with a strong portfolio of self-directed digital media projects.
  • Operate with an "owner" mentality: you don't wait for direction-you pitch ideas, shoot, edit, and deliver.
  • Have a deep, intuitive grasp of platform-native pacing and storytelling for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and LinkedIn.
  • Possess a sharp eye for visual composition, sound design, typography, and editing rhythm.
  • Can quickly learn about a B2B SaaS product and make it visually compelling and relatable.
  • Are excited by the pace and messiness of a startup environment and want the chance to build a brand presence from the ground up.

What's In It For You?
  • A Blank Canvas: Unmatched autonomy to experiment and define the creative direction for an emerging tech company.
  • Direct Access: Collaborate closely with startup founders, gaining deep insights into early-stage company building and go-to-market strategy.
  • Portfolio Building: Produce a high volume of real-world work that showcases your ability to shape a brand identity.
  • Career Growth: This summer contract is a proving ground, with the clear possibility of transitioning to a full-time lead creative or marketing role.

Logistics & Application
  • Location & Schedule: This is a summer contract role. We're open to structuring it around your availability (part-time or full-time). Working in-office (NYC) is highly preferred to enable hands-on filming, rapid prototyping, and close collaboration with the founding team.
  • Compensation: Competitive contract rate, commensurate with your experience and the scope of the summer engagement.

How to Apply: Don't just send a traditional resume-show us what you can do. Please apply through our portal or email join@aryaworks.com with:
  1. A link to your portfolio, reel, or samples of your video work (TikTok/IG/YouTube/Personal Site).
  2. A brief note (or video) explaining why you want to lead Arya's brand and how you
