GENERAL PURPOSE: The Senior Manager, Fixture Design will utilize retail industry knowledge, corporate and field input to lead the design of store fixtures to support new store openings along with capital and expense projects in existing stores, collaborating extensively with vendors. They are responsible for ensuring that every new fixture design is delivered accurately, timely, and on budget, and meets all business and technical requirements including cost, durability, structural integrity, ease of assembly, ease of maintenance, form, fit, function and appearance. This position manages a team of managers, engineers and project leads.

The base salary range for this role is $113,200 - $172,600. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.

Other rewards vary by position and location. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Fixture Design Lead a team of managers, engineers and project leads, in the design of store fixtures. Ensure that new designs are accurate, timely, and on budget, and meet all business and technical requirements (e.g., cost, durability, structural integrity, ease of assembly, ease of maintenance, form, fit, function and appearance)

Review all designs for conformance to standards throughout the design, development, testing and rollout cycle. Escalate variances. Conduct post-installation follow-up visits to stores to monitor the performance of fixtures during customer and associate use.

Prepare and present clear, fact-based presentations to illustrate findings to senior management audiences and gain credibility based on recommendations. Maintain a well-organized design review area and coordinate executive signoff. Maintain accurate comprehensive records and prototype blocks for all store fixtures.

Project Management Ensure that all projects are managed using standardized plans, timelines, issue trackers and meeting recaps, following documented roles and responsibilities, within agreed upon budgets and deadlines. Minimize delays via weekly and ad hoc vendor meetings anchored to detailed project timelines, to track progress and react quickly to resolve concerns. Provide supervisor and business partners with an accurate comprehensive weekly tracking report of fixture design project status covering all vendors and programs.

Proactively communicate to supervisor and partners any variances to project plan. Engage vendors to mitigate risk to timeline and get project back on track. Vendor Management Serve as primary point of contact for vendors, and the escalation point of contact for corporate and field business partners, regarding fixture designs on all programs.

Maintain frequent communication with vendors to monitor and drive improvement as needed throughout the design, development, testing, validation and rollout process. Support the costing and vendor selection for new prototype fixtures. Work with Strategic Sourcing on Requests for Proposals and Statements of Work.

PMP Certification desirable Expertise designing, testing, optimizing and implementing customer-facing systems, structures and components that are cost-effective, high quality, durable and functional, with elevated aesthetics, fit and finish Proven ability to drive performance improvement, operational efficiency and cost savings Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and OneDrive required Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and succinctly, both verbally and written High comfort level working in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments Outstanding work ethic; displays a high sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficiently Superior analytical skills, including mathematical, spatial and problem solving PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA: Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer. Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.

Consistent timeliness and regular attendance. Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically. This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback.

However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
