Corteva Agriscience is searching for an innovative and energetic individual for a Finance Data Analyst to join our Global Strategic Projects finance team. This role blends traditional accounting expertise with advanced data analytics and emerging AI technologies to drive innovation and efficiency across financial processes.
Primary Responsibilities - How will you help us grow?
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows using Alteryx to streamline data preparation, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for applying AI and machine learning in finance (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, intelligent automation).
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance financial systems and processes.
  • Support Data Workflows: Assist in the development, deployment, and maintenance of data pipelines and workflows within the Databricks environment.
  • Data Integration: Support the ingestion and transformation of data from various sources (e.g., cloud storage, databases, APIs) into Databricks for analysis and reporting.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on integrating technical tools with accounting functions.
  • Support internal and external audits with data-driven insights and documentation.
  • Create and maintain documentation for processes, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Train and mentor team members on Alteryx, Databricks and other technical tools.

Key Interactions
  • Works closely with Global Finance team to implement and support Alteryx workflows.
  • Works in concert with Global Finance project team to create digital roadmap and determine future projects.
  • Collaborates with IT support teams

Education and Experience - What you will bring to the table!
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data and Analytics, Data Science or related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Alteryx Designer and experience building complex workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in finance such as predictive analytics, natural language processing, or robotic process automation.
  • Strong background in Databricks.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and data structures.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau, snowflake, or Azure ML.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, BPC).
  • Exposure to finance transformation initiatives or digital finance strategy.
