Job description

As the Lead Digital Data Analyst with American Family Insurance, you will provide analytics services to the business across the digital sales and servicing customer journeys. Develop new insights and understand our performance based on data and statistical methods. Analyze our results, external market dynamics and other data sources to assess trends and develop applicable insights to management, by understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis.

Primary Accountabilities
  • Work with partners in the development and delivery of key digital performance analysis and reporting.
  • Build and maintain various models used to project business results; enhance the model where there is value in adjusting the models.
  • Ensure analysis and reporting accuracy and integrity and explain performance drivers and provide insights into performance trends.
  • Create, execute, and maintain forecasting models; speak to the underlying assumptions and inter-workings of the model used to create the forecast.
  • Communicate findings to multiple stakeholders and leadership with recommendations for actions to address business changes, trends, and issues.
  • Evaluate, design, test and maintain data/analytics systems and make recommendations for new tools and system enhancements.
  • Develop, test, and deploy complex automated reporting solutions and automated decision analytics to replace manual business processes.
  • Develop and define standard analytics governance and communication and ensure adherence to standards.
  • May be requested to complete other assignments or participate in projects based upon skills, achievements, or experience.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of forecasting techniques or statistical analysis or data modeling or data mining.
  • Demonstrated experience providing digital funnel insights and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing software tools to query and report data.
  • Demonstrated experience with a variety of standard reporting software packages and best practices for report deployment processes.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating/presenting complex and independent concepts and unbiased fact-based decision-making and financial performance.
  • Demonstrated experience developing complex data sets for wide-spread use.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise using modern analytical tools, such as Google Analytics and Looker Studio.
  • Demonstrated experience in web channel flow.

In this hybrid role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month out of the Boston, MA or Madison, WI offices.
