Job description

Niverco Biomedical Services, LLC is looking to hire a part-time Biomedical Equipment Technician I with the possibility of full-time position after the orientation and evaluation period is completed.

The Biomedical Technician 1 - Entry level will be responsible for performing planned preventative maintenance (PM) on customer's biomedical equipment: responding to service calls to evaluate, diagnose and repair the customers equipment; and maintain customer satisfaction.

Technician Requirements:

  • AS in Electrical Engineering with Biomedical Certification, Electronics, Mechanical Principles or equivalent degree
  • 6 month OTJ training or 1 semester internship in equipment repair/ service
  • Understanding of the basics of electricity and electrical circuits
  • Experience performing troubleshooting and planned maintenance on equipment
  • English primary language, any other languages spoken/ written are a plus
  • Basic computer skills required, Excell and Access experience are a plus
  • Ability to document all repair actions/ reports/ service summaries in concise, timely manner
  • Ability to work on EKG/ ECG's, Patient Monitors, and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Experience working on large equipment, Rack Washers, Tunnel Washers, Glassware Dryers.
  • Any additional training/ knowledge in refrigeration, HVAC, Small Motor... Etc. is a plus
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license
