As a Research, Development and Engineering (RD&E) Intern at SC Johnson, you'll be involved in strategic projects that allow you to discover, apply and develop new products and materials to improve or create our next generation of quality, trusted products. You'll be part of our team in Racine, Wisconsin and will work cross-functionally with colleagues across the company to gain skills which will help prepare you for a full-time career in RD&E.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Must be enrolled and seeking bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related degree with a graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.

  • Available to complete internship from May 17, 2027 through August 6, 2027.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Strong analytical, technical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Goal-oriented, results-driven, and intellectually curious.

  • Involved and assumes leadership roles in various school activities.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation aptitude.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

  • Ability to work independently on assignments, complete hands-on learning, prioritize work, handle a variety of tasks or requests at once.

  • Time management and organizational skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full time Monday- Friday.

  • 12-week summer internship.

  • This position is not eligible for remote work.
