Revenue & Pricing Strategist

Location: Overland Park (But, working closely with the Chicago and Nashville offices too)

Company: MFM Partners

Level: Early-career / 1–3 years experience (or strong internship background)

Why this role matters

We’re looking for a Revenue & Pricing Strategist to help us answer one core question: What is the right price to win customers and grow revenue—without leaving money on the table? You’ll use data, market signals, and customer behavior to shape how we price and position our products.

This isn’t a back‑office number-cruncher role. You’ll sit close to Sales, Marketing, and Leadership and see exactly how your work shows up in deals, margins, and growth.

What you’ll do

  • Analyze pricing performance across products, customers, and segments to spot trends and opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales to design pricing structures, discounts, and deal strategies that help win business while protecting margin.
  • Benchmark our prices against competitors and market data to keep us aligned with reality, not guesses.
  • Run “what if” scenarios to test new price points, bundles, and promotional offers before we roll them out.
  • Build simple dashboards and reports so leaders can see pricing performance at a glance.
  • Support new product launches with price recommendations and packaging ideas.
  • Continuously experiment, learn, and refine our pricing playbook based on results.

What you’ll learn and gain

  • Real ownership: Your work directly influences revenue, profitability, and how we compete in the market.
  • Cross-functional exposure: You’ll collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product.
  • Skill growth: Hands-on experience with Excel/Sheets, BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker), and pricing strategy frameworks.
  • Career path: Clear growth into Revenue Strategy, Product Pricing, FP&A, or Revenue Operations.

You’re a great fit if you

  • Enjoy working with numbers and can turn data into clear stories and recommendations.
  • Are curious about how businesses make money and how pricing affects buying decisions.
  • Are comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling).
  • Communicate clearly and can explain your thinking to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Like testing ideas, learning from results, and iterating quickly.
  • Are early in your career but hungry for responsibility and impact.

Nice-to-have (not dealbreakers)

  • Experience in a pricing, revenue operations, finance, or analytics role (internships count).
  • Exposure to B2B sales environments (SaaS, manufacturing, or distribution).
  • Familiarity with SQL or BI tools, or a strong desire to learn them.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus structure.
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • A team that values ownership, transparency, and growth.
