Position Overview

AJ Media Consulting is seeking a Nonprofit Operations Intern interested in gaining hands-on experience supporting nonprofit and mission-driven organizations.

This internship provides practical exposure to the behind-the-scenes work that keeps nonprofit organizations running effectively. Interns will assist with research, program support, fundraising initiatives, data organization, communications, administrative systems, and special projects.

The position is ideal for students interested in nonprofit management, business operations, community impact, fundraising, program development, or organizational leadership.

ResponsibilitiesNonprofit Research & Data
  • Research nonprofit trends, community needs, and industry topics.
  • Gather and organize data to support programs, campaigns, and organizational initiatives.
  • Research funding opportunities, potential partners, sponsors, and community resources.
  • Assist with compiling statistics and information for reports, presentations, and communications.
  • Organize historical organizational data and records.
Program & Organizational Support
  • Assist with coordinating nonprofit programs and initiatives.
  • Organize program materials, forms, resources, and documentation.
  • Help maintain internal tracking systems and organizational records.
  • Assist with collecting and organizing program participation and outcome data.
