Job description

Job Summary:
ECOM is a chemical and fertilizer company that focuses on developing supply chain supported systems. They are seeking a Senior Manager in Technology with expertise in AWS Cloud DevOps to architect and develop scalable systems while enhancing their cloud presence.
Responsibilities:
• Hands On Architect with experience in AWS cloud architecture design, and development
• Experience in build scalable, low latency system
• Experience in defining and communicating various architectures – application, data, infrastructure etc.
• Understanding of API first approach and experience in implementing API service architecture
• API design standards, patterns and best practices (e.g. Swagger) including security
• Experience working in CI/CD environment. Understand Infrastructure as a code and devops
• Must understand Cloud Driven Architecture – this team will be building new and updating existing applications to the cloud.
• The main language is Node.js
• Must have a breadth of knowledge across DevOps, AWS, Infrastructure, Build Release, etc.
• Experience in developing in AWS Platform using Node js.

Qualifications:
Required:

• Must have a breadth of knowledge across DevOps, AWS, Infrastructure, Build Release, etc.
• Experience in developing in AWS Platform using Node js.
• Must have experience with building API's.
• Strong API knowledge - how to write and scale.
• Must know how caching works at the API Level.
• Must have an API Driven Mindset.
• Programming Language of Choice: Node.js
• Must have some type of programming background, front and back end - individuals that have moved from Front End to back end
Preferred:
• AWS Certified Solution Architect (Associate or Professional)
