Job Summary:
Deloitte is a leading global professional services firm that delivers strategic programs and services. The Azure CMS Engineer will design and deploy Azure services, implement Infrastructure as Code, and provide technical support for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Design and deploy Azure services, ensuring compliance with best practices for security, scalability, and availability.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Configure Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Storage Accounts, etc.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to provide visibility into application, infrastructure performance, security, reliability and cost.
• Manage identity and access using Microsoft Entra ID and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and audits to identify and remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
• Automate routine tasks and workflows using Azure Automation and develop Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Provide technical support for cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and availability issues. This includes Windows and Linux VM support.
• Hands-on experience in integrating cloud platforms with other cloud-based systems, ensuring data consistency and availability.
• Participate in assessments and audits of existing Azure deployments to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Ensure operational activities are completed within the required SLAs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support tailored Azure solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including technical guides and operational procedures.
• Stay updated on emerging Azure services and technologies, integrating them where applicable.
• Use DevOps practices, including Github for version control, to manage cloud.
• Working knowledge of Azure AI services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, Microsoft Foundry) and how they integrate with core Azure infrastructure (VNets, Private Endpoints, Key Vault, etc.)
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, including architecture, configuration, and management.
• Familiarity with Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure Policy, AKS, Azure Databases, Azure Network etc
• Strong experience with PowerShell Scripting.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
Preferred:
• Relevant active Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ - 104), Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ - 400), are preferred.
• Full stack development experience is an advantage.
