A Chief Executive Officer for a Chicago-based single family office, reporting directly to the Principal, leading a small family office team and external advisors across financial management, operations, tax and estate liaison, HR, risk, philanthropy and aviation assets.

The Principal, a significant portfolio investor managing liquid assets, real estate, and private equity interests across technology, media, consumer, and manufacturing sectors, seeks a CEO to report directly to him. This individual will lead a small family office team collaborating with external legal, fiduciary, and investment advisors. The CEO will serve as strategic leader and trusted business confidant, overseeing complete financial management and operational oversight. Key responsibilities span family office management, tax and estate planning liaison work, financial reporting and analysis, human resources oversight, legal and risk management, philanthropic support, and aviation asset management. The role emphasizes developing operational infrastructure, implementing best practices, managing external advisors, hiring and mentoring staff, and facilitating strategic planning meetings. The candidate will help define and execute the family office's mission, vision, and values while translating business goals into performance plans for the organization.
