About the Job Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer - Machine Design (Holland, MI). $70,000 - $80,000 | Full-Time | Direct Hire. Are you a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate looking to launch your career in machine and automation design? We're partnering with a growth-oriented company in the Holland, MI area seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their team of experienced professionals. This is a permanent, full-time position where you'll receive hands-on mentorship from senior engineers and gain valuable experience designing custom automation equipment and special machines.   • Design and detail custom machines, fixtures, and automation systems using engineering principles and CAD tools.
  • Select and size mechanical components such as gears, pumps, bearings, hydraulics, and piping systems.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced mechanical designers to bring concepts to life.
  • Create and review engineering drawings, bill of materials (BOMs), and bid specifications.

Qualifications:
