  • Generate efficient toolpaths using appropriate machining strategies, cutting speeds, and feeds to maximize productivity and quality.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, work holding, fixtures, and machining methods for complex manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Machine Shop personnel to support machine setup, tooling selection, fixture design, and process validation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support machining projects from program development through production.
  • Monitor machining operations and work closely with supervisors and CNC operators to verify program performance, dimensional accuracy, and product quality.
  • Troubleshoot CNC programming issues, machining processes, tooling challenges, and manufacturing defects, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Revise and release updated CNC programs in response to engineering changes, process improvements, or production requirements.
  • Evaluate and implement new tooling technologies, machining strategies, and process improvements to reduce cycle times and increase manufacturing efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to CNC operators regarding program execution, machine setup, tooling, and quality requirements.
  • Support cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Estimating, Quality, and Manufacturing.
  • Report directly to the CNC Programming Manager.
