Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will appraise damaged vehicles and determine repair requirements. Your responsibilities will include performing physical inspections, documenting damage, and reviewing repair estimates with customers and technicians. The ideal candidate is methodical and detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities 
  • Perform physical inspections of damaged vehicles
  • Determine the extent of damage
  • Document repairs needed and review repair shop estimates
  • Communicate with technicians and customers 
  • Work with varied insurance companies and their procedures
  • Follow vehicles through the repair process
  • Ensure repairs are done correctly in a timely fashion
  • Determine vehicle value and provide documentation 

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years experience with Auto Body repairs in a shop environment
  • Computer experience with CCC One estimating platform preferred
  • Ability to create and read repair estimates
  • I-CAR experience or willingness to take I-CAR classes required
  • Previous experience as an Automotive Estimator is preferred
  • Computer knowledge and ability preferred
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
