Job Title: RF Engineer
Location: Hudson, NH -Onsite
Duration: 3 months with possible extensions
Pay: $62-$67/hr. (depending on experience) 
Shift: 9-80 Schedule. 1st Shift
Active Security Clearance is Required

Position Requirements
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and analyze RF systems and components for defense and aerospace applications, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, and frequency converters.
  • System Integration: Integrate RF systems into larger defense and aerospace platforms, such as aircraft, satellites, unmanned vehicles, or ground-based systems.
  • Testing and Evaluation: Conduct testing and evaluation of Antennas and RF systems ensure compliance with performance specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to RF systems, including signal interference, noise, power limitations, and performance optimization.
  • Conduct frequency planning and management activities to ensure efficient and effective utilization of RF spectrum resources.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications, test plans, reports, and design documentation, to support development, manufacturing, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful integration of the Antennas.
  • Stay updated with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to RF engineering in the defense and aerospace sector.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees and specialized certifications are advantageous.
  • RF Design Tools: Proficiency in using RF design and simulation tools, such as MATLAB, ADS (Advanced Design System), CST Microwave Studio, or similar software.
  • RF Systems and Components: Strong understanding of antenna theory. Experience with antenna test ranges. Short field antenna testing experience.
  • Testing and Measurement Equipment: Experience with Antenna/RF testing and measurement equipment, such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
  • Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex RF system performance issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose effective solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
