Overview:

Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Math Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. This position requires a passion for mathematics and the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable and engaging manner to students. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematical principles and a commitment to helping students achieve both academic success and a deeper appreciation for math.

Key Responsibilities:Curriculum Development and Instruction:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive math curriculum that aligns with state standards and fosters critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Utilize various teaching methods and technological tools to enhance student learning and engagement in mathematics
  • Student Assessment:
  • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding of mathematical concepts
  • Provide personalized feedback and support to students, adapting instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
  • Classroom Management:
  • Create a positive, organized, and productive learning environment that is conducive to learning and suitable for performing mathematical tasks
  • Maintain discipline and encourage good practice with respect to punctuality, behavior, standards of work, and homework
  • Professional Development:
  • Stay current with the latest educational research and pedagogical strategies in mathematics education
