Duties and Responsibilities: 

70%

Provide academic assistance to students individually or in small groups to enhance student learning without compromising the quality of the student learning experience.
Review concepts and learning objectives for courses taught in Mathematics specific to subject area to be able to assist students with course content.
Assist students with understanding concepts presented in the classroom.
Distribute learning materials to supplement lessons presented in class (worksheets, study guides, test/exam reviews, etc.)

Provide basic technical support to students using the computers in the lab.
Communicate services to students and staff
Assist in carrying out the resource lab's rules and guidelines
Maintain learning environment in a safe, clean and orderly condition
Perform other duties related to the School of Stem as assigned.
Proctor exams as needed.

Required Education: Associate's Degree or higher with a minimum of 12 Hours of College Level-Mathematics courses including one or more of the following: College Algebra, Statistics, Trigonometry, or Calculus I

Required Experience: Minimum of one year of general office experience or tutoring/teaching in a college setting.

Required Licenses or Certifications: N/A

Preferred Education: Associate's Degree or higher in Mathematics, Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience: Minimum of one year of tutoring/teaching Mathematics in a college setting.
