Job Responsibilities

Business Development and Revenue Generation

  • Originate, develop, and close new AIS opportunities with existing and prospective clients.

  • Lead executive discovery discussions to identify business challenges that can be addressed through AI, analytics, automation, data platforms, and technology-enabled solutions.

  • Collaborate with AIS leadership and technical leaders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.

  • Shape solution approaches and business cases that align client objectives with AIS capabilities.

  • Lead or support proposals, presentations, demonstrations, and commercial negotiations.

  • Expand strategic client relationships by identifying opportunities for additional AIS and firmwide services.

  • Contribute to the development of new offerings, industry solutions, and growth strategies.

Executive Client Relationship Leadership

  • Serve as an executive sponsor and senior relationship leader for strategic AIS clients.

  • Maintain executive continuity from opportunity development through implementation and ongoing expansion.

  • Build trusted relationships with CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, COOs, private equity sponsors, family offices, and other senior decision-makers.

  • Ensure technology initiatives remain aligned with broader business and organizational objectives.

  • Identify emerging client needs and proactively introduce new ideas, capabilities, and resources.

  • Navigate complex stakeholder environments across business functions and technology teams.

Advisory and Solution Strategy

  • Help clients develop and execute strategies involving data platforms, analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, application development, and digital transformation.

  • Guide organizations through foundational initiatives required to support AI adoption, including data quality, governance, integration, and architecture considerations.

  • Develop strategic roadmaps that connect near-term initiatives with longer-term transformation objectives.

  • Collaborate with delivery leaders to establish executive governance structures for major engagements.

  • Remain actively engaged throughout the client lifecycle to ensure expectations, outcomes, and business value remain aligned.

Business and Technology Alignment

  • Translate business objectives into actionable requirements for technical delivery teams.

  • Help executive stakeholders understand technology investments in terms of business outcomes, value realization, risks, and organizational impact.

  • Partner with architects, engineers, developers, and data professionals to develop practical, technically sound, and commercially relevant solutions.

  • Keep discussions focused on business value and measurable outcomes rather than technology for technology's sake.

Cross-Firm Collaboration

  • Partner with leaders across Consulting and other firm service lines to identify opportunities where AIS solutions can enhance client outcomes.

  • Help account teams recognize opportunities related to AI, analytics, automation, and digital transformation.

  • Facilitate integrated solutions that leverage the broader capabilities of the firm.

  • Build strong relationships with firm leadership, industry leaders, partners, managing directors, and technical teams.

Thought Leadership and Market Presence

  • Represent Armanino and AIS at industry events, conferences, webinars, client forums, and networking activities.

  • Develop thought leadership focused on practical AI strategy, analytics, data transformation, and emerging technologies.

  • Promote practical and responsible AI adoption through market-facing content and client engagement.

  • Help strengthen Armanino's market position as a trusted, business-focused technology advisor.

  • Support the development of industry-specific AIS solutions, particularly within real estate and construction.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in consulting, advisory, professional services, technology, finance transformation, or a related field, including demonstrated success developing and expanding executive-level client relationships.

  • Proven record of originating, influencing, and closing complex consulting or technology engagements involving multiple stakeholders, service lines, disciplines, or technical teams.

  • Strong understanding of business strategy, operating models, organizational transformation, and the connection between technology investments and measurable business outcomes.

  • Working knowledge of data platforms, business intelligence, analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, and modern technology ecosystems.

  • Executive presence, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to influence and lead effectively without relying on direct organizational authority.

  • Flexibility to work from home while collaborating in person half the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience serving clients within real estate, construction, private equity, family office, Office of the CFO, or adjacent industries.

  • Experience building and scaling consulting, advisory, or technology service offerings.

  • Understanding of AI adoption, data modernization, data governance, and digital transformation initiatives.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position: $124,100 - $169,100. For Washington residents, Illinois residents, New York residents, and Southern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $136,500 - $185,900. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $142,700 - $194,400. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
