What is an Internship at Apple Security?

An Internship at Apple Security is a temporary position for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience working with Apple's security teams. Interns collaborate on real-world projects related to cybersecurity, software security, hardware security, and data privacy. The program provides mentorship, training, and exposure to industry-leading security practices. Interns may work on tasks such as vulnerability assessments, security tool development, or incident response. This experience helps interns build valuable skills and make professional connections in the tech industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Apple Security Intern, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Apple Security Intern, you typically need a strong foundation in computer science, cybersecurity principles, and analytical problem-solving, often demonstrated through relevant coursework or projects. Familiarity with programming languages (such as Python or C++), security tools (like Wireshark or Metasploit), and knowledge of operating systems are highly valued, and certifications like CompTIA Security+ can be advantageous. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a proactive attitude help interns collaborate effectively and adapt to Apple's fast-paced environment. These skills and qualities are critical to contribute meaningfully to security projects, quickly learn from experienced professionals, and help protect Apple's products and infrastructure.

Job description

About Ramp

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
