Join WithersRavenel as an Civil Professional I (EIT) and play a key role in helping to shape the communities where we live and work.


As part of our Residential Land Development Team in Cary, you’ll support project engineers, contribute to design development, solve technical challenges, and help deliver high-quality plans. This role is perfect for early-career civil engineers who are eager to learn, collaborate, and grow!

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 0-1+ years of related professional experience (internships and co-ops considered).
  • Exposure to and/or experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Geopak, or related design software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to take direction.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under deadlines.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, flexibility, and commitment to professional growth.

Preferred:

  • FE Exam in progress/completed. Possibly already an EI/EIT.
  • EI/EIT certification or ability to obtain.
  • Internship experience in field of expertise.
  • Exposure to graphic or visualization software.
