Job description
The Department of Pathology in the College of Graduate Studies, Midwestern University, Downers Grove Campus offers a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Applicants should minimally hold a D.O., M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent terminal degree with an extensive background in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology/ Laboratory Medicine and Molecular Biology. A minimum two years of postdoctoral experience is required. A strong research background is required, and the candidate is expected to develop their own research program. The ideal candidate will have strong teaching skills as well as strong mentorship skills for students involved in laboratory research. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in one or more of the following programs: osteopathic medical, optometry, dental, and precision medicine. Additional teaching responsibilities may arise in accordance with the needs of the programs at Midwestern University.
