Job description

Join Amazon's Cargo Integrity & Recovery Services (CIRS) team as a Supply Chain Manager, where you'll play a critical role in protecting Amazon's inbound supply chain from in-transit theft and cargo loss. You'll lead investigations, analyze complex data patterns, and collaborate with carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure freight integrity across our Domestic First Mile network. This role offers the opportunity to innovate in an evolving space, driving solutions that directly impact customer trust and operational excellence.
The Global Logistics team is growing and seeking a Supply Chain Manager to ensure cargo integrity for Amazon Inbound Transportation. As Amazon continues to enhance cargo integrity within transportation and logistics, we consistently evaluate our tools and processes and drive improvements through shipper and carrier performance management and internal partnerships.
In this role, you will work with the Inbound Transportation Cargo Integrity team to create solutions and take actions to ensure that freight arrives to Amazon as scheduled. We are focused on learning, innovating, and maintaining a customer-centric approach. We are looking for candidates who can analyze complicated problems and drive resolution to disruptions in the inbound processes. Regular and ongoing communications with Amazon's shippers, carriers, and internal stakeholders will be required to uphold compliance to Amazon's standards
Key job responsibilities
- Communicate with external carriers and selling partners regarding compliance requirements and cargo integrity standards
- Investigate unreceived inventory cases and identify root causes through comprehensive data analysis
- Compile and deliver reports on investigation findings, trends, and patterns in the cargo integrity space
- Evaluate shipments for potential in-transit loss and initiate formal investigations when warranted
- Manage team labor planning and resource allocation across investigation verticals
- Develop and implement new investigation procedures to enhance cargo protection
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and risk mitigation strategies
A day in the life
As a Supply Chain Manager on the Cargo Integrity & Recovery Services (CIRS) team, you'll work on a team that focuses on detecting in-transit theft in the Domestic First Mile (DFM) space through various detection mechanisms. You will interface with internal and external stakeholders as we continue to lead trustworthy initiatives and reduce risk to our customers.
You'll lead initiatives to improve our track and trace capabilities while managing investigation workflows and ensuring timely resolution of cargo integrity concerns.

The Cargo Integrity & Recovery Services (CIRS) team is part of Amazon's Global Logistics organization, dedicated to protecting the integrity of inbound freight across our supply chain network. Our team combines data analytics, investigative expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to detect, prevent, and resolve cargo loss incidents. We foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, where team members are encouraged to develop new approaches to emerging challenges. As we grow, we're building scalable processes and tools that will shape the future of cargo security at Amazon.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 1+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- 3+ years of program or project management experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
