Description:

SUMMARY: Performs data entry services for the Oil and Gas Department in addition to providing support to the Oil and Gas Services Department Partner/Manager while gaining valuable experience and exposure to Oil and Gas revenue services.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enters revenue check stub information into the Oil and Gas accounting system.
  • Reviews data for accuracy.
  • Coordinates project status with other associates.
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time, at a reasonable pace.
  • Ensures attention to detail in data and projects.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week; maximum of 40 hours per week preferred.
  • Internship is expected to last through December 2026

  • Ability to communicate well with others on staff, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to manage work load and deadlines.
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented and thorough.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:

College student or recent college graduate, Business major preferred, with strong academic credentials. (Minimum GPA of 3.0) No prior Oil and Gas experience required.


Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware and peripheral devices.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk or use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
