Summary

The Talent Acquisition Partner I position is responsible for all recruiting and staffing programs and activities for assigned business units. This includes responsibilities related to the attraction, selection, hiring and on-boarding of talent into Allegiant as well as partnering with hiring manager to help build a workforce with the Allegiant core values and critical skills needed to move the business forward. You will actively participate in reviewing candidate resumes and profiles; conducting interviews; making assessments and recommending talent; negotiating and presenting offers; providing status communications and notifications to candidates; maintaining candidate workflow and notes via the applicant tracking system (ATS); etc.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

  • Previous airline experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skill.
  • Time Management/Organization - Proficient in candidate management.
  • Program Management - Ability to manage several low level positions for a limited number of hiring managers. Ability to manage candidate pools at various stages of the recruitment cycle.
  • Administrative Skills - Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS); Ultimate Software a plus. Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Relationship and Communication - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in a variety of settings across all organizational levels.
  • Problem Solving - Ability to recognize and match candidates to job specifications. Can assist managers in understanding the process and steps in the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Autonomy - Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Job Duties
  • Level I - Demonstrates understanding and support of the People Services Culture by embodying it in most interactions, even in tough times.
  • Demonstrates understanding of the business and roles supported and the impact they have on business operations.
  • Demonstrates the basic administrative skills to execute on the following recruiting duties: Opening and routing requisitions, posting positions on company approved postings sites, updates to candidate records, scheduling of interviews on multiple platforms.
  • Conducts basic screening for high volume low level of difficulty positions including but not limited to: Stations, Call Center, Customer Service, Internships, Administrative, etc.
  • Under direction of Senior Level Partners or Talent Acquisition Manager interacts with hiring managers on elements of the recruiting cycle including but not limited to: needs assessments, candidate presentations, feedback gathering, progress updates.
  • Under direction works with FP&A team members on headcount requests and approvals for open positions.
  • Interacts with college career centers and attends job fairs.
  • Can evaluate candidate background and match against open requisitions.
  • Under direction can develop basic screening questions for open roles.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
