The Traffic Analysis Project Manager will help oversee traffic studies, analyses and modeling.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include
  • Oversee preparation of traffic engineering studies and traffic impact analysis through the life cycle of assigned project(s), including quality control.
  • Strengthen the DRMP brand through business development efforts across states.
  • Manage multiple private sector traffic studies and provide technical quality control on projects.
  • Supports marketing with project pursuits, technical presentations, and interviews.
  • Manages multiple publicly and privately funded projects and provides technical quality control of projects.
  • Prepares project fee proposals and follows up as appropriate.
  • Responsible for tracking of costs, schedules, and performance measurements for assigned projects.
  • Supervises work of Project Managers, Engineers, and Interns.
  • Responsible for personal professional development through collaboration with other service areas to develop broader awareness of the relationships between the various project design disciplines.
  • Mentors/Coaches Project Managers, Engineers, and Interns to develop staff.

What you'll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • 7-10+ years of overall and progressively responsible experience with public and private sector projects, ideally in the A/E/C industry
  • Proven track record of completing traffic studies in the state
  • Existing contacts and strong relationships with private sector development clients
  • Willing to travel to interface with clients
  • Professional Engineering licensure in the state where this person's work is primarily performed
  • Knowledge of appropriate technical analysis standards and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Synchro, SIDRA, and other applicable software.
