Job description

Join our Futures Execution Product team to lead product management initiatives in algorithmic trading.

As an Associate in the Futures Execution Product team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of algorithmic trading products. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your analytical skills and technical proficiency to deliver innovative solutions to our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage directly with clients to enhance their trading experience. Join us to drive product evolution and make a significant impact in the world of futures trading.

As an Associate in the Futures Execution Product team, you will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge algorithmic trading solutions to institutional clients. You will work closely with business partners across the Global Futures Sales and Trading organization to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions. Your role will involve producing in-depth analysis of product usage and trading performance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and maintaining a strong knowledge of futures trading and analytics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead product management initiatives across the algorithmic & analytics trading product suite.
  • Interact with clients to understand their needs and offer J.P. Morgan's Futures algorithmic product suite solutions.
  • Partner with business analysts, core technology, legal/compliance, operations, and sales and trading teams to optimize product functionality.
  • Produce in-depth analysis of product usage, client trends, and trading performance.
  • Leverage analytical skills to analyze large data sets and provide actionable results.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of futures trading and associated analytics.
  • Ensure adherence with all relevant regulatory and control agenda requirements.
  • Be an integral member of the Futures Execution Product team, working together to provide a positive client experience.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of electronic trading experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Experience in Q/kdb and Python.
  • Ability to interact with clients professionally and maturely.
  • Technical experience with data and analytics reporting platforms.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in futures trading and algorithmic execution.
  • Familiarity with global futures markets.
  • Ability to produce TCA analysis and execution consultations.
  • Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills.
