Job Summary
At JPMorganChase, our Electronic Client Solutions (ECS) team is at the forefront of equities electronic trading innovation. We build and deliver the industry's leading platform for algorithmic execution, liquidity solutions, and low-latency trading capabilities to institutional, hedge fund, and systematic trading firms.
As an Associate on the ECS team, you will combine product management expertise with strong analytical and technical skills to drive product strategy and deliver execution consulting to our clients. Working closely with partners across Global Equities Sales and Trading, you will lead product initiatives, engage directly with clients through TCA reviews and algorithmic execution consultations, and build cross-functional relationships that fuel innovation. If you are passionate about equities markets, data-driven decision making, and delivering best-in-class trading solutions, this is the role for you.
Job Responsibilities
  • Define and lead product initiatives across the Americas execution product spectrum, including the algorithmic trading product, smart order router, and alternative trading systems.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver the algorithmic and smart order router product suite as well as bespoke solutions.
  • Analyze client order flow using TCA and execution quality metrics to provide actionable insights that optimize trading performance.
  • Partner with business analysts, technology, legal/compliance, operations, and sales and trading teams to optimize product functionality.
  • Produce in-depth analysis of product usage, client trends, trading performance, and revenues to drive product evolution.
  • Maintain working knowledge of equities trading, market structure, and the regulatory landscape, ensuring adherence to all relevant requirements.
  • Contribute to a positive client experience as an integral member of the ECS team.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of equities electronic trading experience or equivalent, preferably in algorithmic trading, smart order routing, or execution consulting.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify liquidity trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with q/kdb+ and Python.
  • Strong understanding of equities execution products, market structure, and the regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Ability to interact confidently and professionally with clients.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Series 57, 7, and 63 registrations.
  • Prior technical experience with data and analytics reporting platforms.
  • Experience producing execution consulting deliverables for institutional clients.
