Job description

Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) | Full-Time

Location: Seattle, Washington

A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle, Washington area is actively seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join its growing specialty care team. This is a collaborative, patient-centered environment with access to advanced endoscopic technology, strong referral networks, and comprehensive clinical support.

The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program !


Position Overview

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, and other GI interventions
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders including GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and GI malignancies
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists for coordinated patient care
• Participate in call rotation (if applicable) with a supportive team structure
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based care practices
• Work alongside Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship
• Washington State medical license (or eligible)
• Active/Eligible DEA registration
• Strong procedural skills and patient-centered care approach
