Job description

We are seeking a team player with a positive attitude and the highest level of personal integrity to join our tax team as a Tax Intern for our 2027 Summer Internship program.
This is a paid internship program (30-40 hours per week) and is designed to provide college students with an opportunity to enhance their formal education with a hands-on, career-related experience. This role is also ideal for someone looking for a part-time seasonal position in the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Participate in financial planning and tax projects, as assigned
  • Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local individual and business income tax returns in UltraTax CS (tax preparation software)
  • Create workpapers in Engagement Manager (workpaper organization/preparation software) and SurePrep (workpaper organization/preparation software) that effectively tell the story of how projects were prepared
  • Utilize FirmFlow (CRM/project management) and GoFileRoom (document storage) to maintain an accurate status of workflows
  • Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues
  • Other duties as requested by Tax Advisors and Tax Administrators

Required Qualifications:
  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related business degree
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Applications
  • Actively participating in campus organizations, preferably within a leadership role, and/or professional work experience
