Job description

A Brief Overview
The Marketing Intern supports the Marketing & Communications team in executing strategic initiatives that promote clinical services, enhance brand awareness, and drive patient acquisition across the health system. This role provides hands-on experience in healthcare marketing, including digital campaigns, content development, analytics, and project coordination. The intern will assist with ongoing marketing initiatives, helping increase team productivity and accelerate time-to-market for key campaigns, while gaining exposure to integrated marketing strategies within a complex healthcare environment.
What You Will Do
  • Support execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels (e.g., paid media, social, email, web, and events)
  • Provide administrative and project support, including scheduling, tracking deliverables, and preparing presentations
  • Assist in development and editing of marketing content, including website copy, social media, and email communications
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and patient engagement opportunities
  • Analyze campaign performance and assist in preparing reports on key metrics (e.g., traffic, engagement, conversions)
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (clinical teams, service lines, communications, and external vendors) to support campaign execution
  • Help maintain and update marketing assets, databases, and content libraries
  • Assist with event planning and execution, including community outreach, screenings, or webinars
  • Contribute to special projects, such as innovation initiatives or emerging areas (e.g., AI in marketing, digital experience optimization)

Qualifications:
Education Qualifications
  • High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Health, or a related field (Required)
  • Rising junior or senior (Preferred)

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong interest in healthcare marketing, communications, or digital media (Required proficiency)
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles, including branding, content strategy, and digital marketing channels (Required proficiency)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with marketing platforms (e.g., social media tools, Google Analytics) (Preferred proficiency)
  • Experience with AI tools like CoPilot or Chat GPT (Required proficiency)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (Required proficiency)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment (Required proficiency)
