The Opportunity

Our Minnetonka location is seeking a high caliber, motivated, self‑driven engineering leader to join our operations team in Abbott’s Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business unit. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats.

About the Role The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor leads a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Technicians supporting the production of Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) catheters in a regulated medical device environment. This role drives daily engineering support, process stability, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, compliant, and high‑quality products.

What You’ll Work On

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers/technicians supporting CRM catheter manufacturing.
  • Prioritize and assign engineering work to meet production, quality, and capacity goals.
  • Oversee process ownership, documentation, validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), and change control.
  • Provide hands‑on support for line issues, root‑cause investigations, and CAPA activities.
  • Analyze process data (yield, scrap, SPC, CPK) to improve performance and reduce variation.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, tooling, and process optimization projects.
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and Abbott procedures.
