Job description

SUMMARY  

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Integrated Construction Coordinator I with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.  The Integrated Construction Coordinator will review, provide analysis, management, and resolution of field coordination issues with project team members and participants. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Plan, implement, and coordinate VDC processes through appropriate technology platforms 

  • May include, but is not limited, to Mortenson BIM/VDC utilizes existing conditions modeling, cost estimation, phase planning (4D), site analysis, design reviews, 3D visualization, 3D coordination, site utilization planning, construction system design, digital fabrication, 3D control planning, and record modeling 

  • Provide point of contact for construction team members on VDC processes and reports during all phases of construction 

  • Document work process as it relates to enhancing and/or changing current company process standards 

  • Other duties as assigned 

  • All integrated construction team members are expected to be active participants in Mortenson's Integrated Delivery Advancement Team community of practice - Knowledge sharing 

  • Daily work planning 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field  

  • Completion of beginner or intermediate level of BIM/VDC software training 

  • Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks 

  • Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices 

  • Microsoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level 

  • Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills 

  • Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies 

  • Previous related internship experience a plus 

  • Beginner level software training 

  • Current driver's license

The base pay range for this role is $76,600 MIN - $95,800 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). 

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
