Job description

Seeking a BC/BE physician to join our growing team of OB/GYN Physicians. Our program is based at a 400+ bed community hospital with 20 LDR rooms and 19 bed level 3 NICU. The hospital performs approximately 1400 deliveries per year. Care responsibilities include providing inpatient care to unassigned patients who present to labor and delivery or the ED, be available to private practice patients in cases of emergency, provide backup and consultative services to Family Medicine Residency program with obstetrical service, see inpatient GYN consults as needed and be a physician leader in areas of safety and quality. Ability to teach and be involved in academics.


Our facility is proud to be the most technologically advanced health care provider in our region. Our technology rivals that of leading institutions in Memphis, TN, Dallas, TX, and Little Rock, AR. Our dedication to technology is reinforced as we continually strive to meet the health care needs of our community. We offer the latest 256 slice CT, MRI, and PET imaging, as well as CV Surgery, Neurosurgery, Neonatology, a radiation cancer treatment center, PDA technology, and the new Da Vinci Surgical System, among other advancements. An outpatient surgery center opened in 2004, an outpatient imaging center opened in July 2005, and in 2010 we opened a $5.5 million, 20-bed, free-standing hospice house. In October of 2011, we introduced our Health & Wellness Institute, a unique facility integrating medically based fitness, treatment, and prevention services, offering a variety of wellness resources in a single place. The 54,000-square-foot structure houses a state-of-the-art fitness center with memberships available for the general public. We are also constructing a $140 million new tower, featuring all new surgical suites and ICUs.
