Position Overview
Jeff Wyler Kia of Fairfield is seeking a motivated, results-driven Internet Sales Manager to join our sales leadership team. This position is responsible for managing and maximizing internet, phone, and digital sales opportunities while ensuring an exceptional customer experience from the first online inquiry through the sale and beyond.
The ideal candidate is an energetic automotive sales professional who understands the importance of speed-to-lead, consistent follow-up, appointment setting, CRM management, and closing business. This person will lead by example, hold the internet sales process accountable, and work closely with the sales team and management to turn digital opportunities into showroom visits and sold vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and respond to incoming internet, website, third-party, phone, and digital sales leads.
  • Ensure all customer inquiries receive a prompt, professional, and personalized response.
  • Maintain a high level of speed-to-lead and consistent follow-up throughout the customer buying journey.
  • Monitor and manage CRM activity, customer records, tasks, appointments, and follow-up processes.
  • Work with Sales Consultants to ensure internet customers receive timely and accurate communication.
  • Set quality appointments and hold the sales team accountable for appointment show rates and closing performance.
  • Communicate vehicle availability, pricing, incentives, financing options, trade-in information, and other relevant product details.
  • Develop effective phone, text, email, and video communication strategies to engage customers.
  • Monitor lead sources and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Track internet department KPIs, including lead response time, contact rate, appointment rate, show rate, closing rate, and gross profit.
  • Follow up with unsold prospects and previous customers to generate additional sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with the General Sales Manager and Sales Managers to maximize every internet opportunity.
  • Help train, coach, and motivate sales consultants on digital lead handling and follow-up best practices.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused online presence consistent with the Jeff Wyler brand.
  • Stay current on Kia products, trims, features, technology, incentives, and competitive vehicles.
  • Ensure all customer interactions and sales activities are accurately documented in the CRM.
  • Assist with other sales department responsibilities as needed.
