Document systems and processes in use within the Internet System Services group to provide service for Internet customers. 


Job Description: 


- Meet with Manager Internet System Services to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication. 

- Meet with Manager and Subject Matter Experts within the team to gather technical information about identified systems and processes. 

- Prepare technical documentation reflecting collected information in a format usable for future employees and other groups within the organization. 

- Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology. 

- Maintain records and files of work and revisions. 


Qualifications: 


- Basic understanding of ISP infrastructure (DNS, RADIUS, DHCP, CPE management) required. 

- Basic understanding of LDAP and SQL systems required (OpenLDAP and MySQL preferred). 

- Previous experience working in an ISP environment preferred. 

- Information Systems or Computer Science Bachelor Degree required. 


Skills: 


- Excellent oral and written communication skills with both technical and user focuses. 

- Ability to work independently and manage one's time. 

- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. 

- Knowledge of media production, communication and disseminating techniques and methods. 

- Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
