Job description

Sales Team Leader
Our Sales Team Leaders are the heartbeat of our showrooms - developing talent, closing deals, and setting the standard for what great customer experience looks like.
As a Sales Team Leader, you'll manage a team of Product Specialists while actively working the floor - structuring deals, driving gross, and ensuring every customer has an outstanding buying experience. This is a hands-on leadership role that rewards people who lead by example and know how to get the best out of their team.
Responsibilities
  • Structure and close new and used vehicle deals while actively coaching Product Specialists through the sales process.
  • Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate Product Specialists; set aggressive but realistic individual goals and provide ongoing support.
  • Manage CRM data and daily sales logs; confirm BDC-set appointments and ensure proper follow-up at every stage.
  • Ensure 100% F&I turnover for every customer; collaborate with Finance Manager on deal structure to maximize gross.
  • Handle customer concerns promptly and in accordance with dealership guidelines.
  • Maintain proper staffing levels and direct the daily schedules and activities of department associates.
  • Attend manager meetings and assist with dealership-wide training, advertising campaigns, and incentive programs.

Compensation and Schedule
  • 40 hour work week
  • $8000 - $15,000/mo
  • Salary + Commission

Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Automotive sales management experience preferred
  • Strong CRM, internet lead management, and follow-up skills
  • Proven ability to desk deals and drive dealership profitability
  • Ability to coach, train, and hold sales teams accountable to performance standards
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, appointment setting, show rates, and internet lead conversion
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated with a competitive mindset, strong energy, and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven dealership environment
