Automotive BDC Representative

Liberty Hyundai is looking for an energetic, professional, and results driven BDC Representative to join our team.

This position is responsible for responding to internet leads, answering customer questions, building relationships, scheduling qualified appointments, and helping customers take the next step in their vehicle purchase.

Today’s customers often want information before they are ready to visit the dealership. We need someone who can provide helpful answers, communicate clearly, build trust, and create a smooth transition from the online experience to the showroom.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to all internet leads, phone calls, texts, and customer inquiries

• Make consistent outbound calls, texts, and emails to new and existing prospects

• Ask the right questions to understand each customer’s needs, timeline, vehicle preference, and concerns

• Provide accurate information regarding inventory, pricing, availability, incentives, and current specials

• Schedule qualified appointments and confirm them before the customer’s visit

• Maintain communication with customers who are not yet ready to visit the dealership

• Complete all required follow up tasks in VinSolutions CRM

• Enter detailed and accurate notes after every customer interaction

• Ensure every lead has a clear next step and scheduled follow up

• Reengage missed appointments, unsold showroom traffic, and older opportunities

• Work closely with sales managers and sales consultants to provide a smooth customer handoff

• Monitor appointments, show rates, sold results, and customer follow up

• Assist customers who prefer to complete more of the buying process online

• Meet monthly goals for response time, appointments, show rate, sold units, and overall lead engagement

• Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude at all times

Qualifications

• Strong phone, text, email, and customer service skills

• Clear and professional communication

• Comfortable using a CRM and managing multiple customer conversations

• Organized, dependable, and consistent with follow up

• Able to work in a fast paced and accountable environment

• Positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed

• Automotive or BDC experience is preferred, but we will train the right person

• VinSolutions experience is a plus

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays
