Internet Sales Associate
As an Internet Sales Associate, you will be responsible for responding to and developing relationships with customers who contact the dealership through our website, third-party lead providers, social media, and other digital channels. You will serve as the first point of contact for many online shoppers, helping create a positive customer experience while turning internet inquiries into showroom appointments and vehicle sales.
What You'll Do
  • Respond promptly and professionally to internet leads, website inquiries, phone calls, texts, and emails.
  • Engage customers through phone, email, and text to understand their vehicle needs and buying preferences.
  • Provide accurate information regarding available vehicles, pricing, features, incentives, and financing options.
  • Follow up consistently with new and existing leads to maintain engagement and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Schedule qualified customers for dealership appointments and work to ensure they arrive.
  • Build strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer information and follow-up activities in the dealership CRM.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from the internet sales process to the in-store experience.
  • Follow up with customers after appointments, test drives, and purchases to provide exceptional customer service and generate additional opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed dealership goals for lead response, appointments, customer engagement, and sales.
  • Stay knowledgeable about current inventory, manufacturer programs, incentives, and dealership promotions.
  • Provide a professional and positive customer experience that reflects the values of our dealership.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous automotive sales, internet sales, BDC, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, text, email, and other digital platforms.
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and other technology.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers quickly.
  • Professional, energetic, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
