Job description

SysTec is located in Troy MO and Provides internet and MSP services throughout the Lincoln County and surrounding areas. We are looking for a technician to serve existing customer internet installations and assist in our office with computer builds, setups, and repairs. This position will be a dual role of Wireless Internet Technician and Computer Technician. The position will progress to an on-site installation technician on the MSP side of operations as well.

Wireless Internet Service Technician

  • Troubleshoot Outdoor Radio units for misalignments and possible install/wiring issues
  • Troubleshoot internet issues using equipment monitoring software and/or at customer locations
  • Troubleshoot routers, APs and networking issues
  • Provide customer with troubleshooting service over the phone

Computer technician duties

  • Build and configure custom computers
  • Setup workstations and laptops
  • Repair hardware issues on computers and laptops
  • Repair software issues on computers and laptops
  • Handle Helpdesk phone calls and requests as needed
  • Assist other team members with tasks as directed

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required. Additional vocational training is a plus.
  • Good physical condition with the ability to work in uneven terrain in varying environments.
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good oral and written communication abilities.
  • Must be Self-Motivated and a self-driven individual

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
