Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Fulfillment Center Retail Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fulfillment center, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders, managing a team of fulfillment center associates, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
This position reports into the Team Operations Manager.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
โ€ข Be a positive influence on the team
โ€ข Direct employees to the work in order to maintain the flow of the operations.
โ€ข Must spend 90% of worked time coaching and developing on the floor with employees, The other 10% should be for office/clerical work
โ€ข Proficient in department specific SOPs
โ€ข Be able to deal with pressure of meeting production schedules by planning and prioritizing fulfillment/customer needs.
โ€ข Participate in team meetings, receive instructions, and provide feedback as appropriate
โ€ข Coach employees on job-specific tasks
โ€ข Computer usage, including maintaining MS Excel spreadsheets, Warehouse Management System and internet
โ€ข Read and audit labels
โ€ข Analyze inventory and problems to initiate a resolution
โ€ข Compile and send out end-of-day reports
โ€ข Communicate effectively in person and via email (Outlook)
โ€ข Use handheld to scan and process inventory
โ€ข Identify, count and sort packages and inventory with high level of accuracy
โ€ข Train new employees
โ€ข Use internal ticketing system, Jira, to log problems and expedite resolution
โ€ข Operate pallet jack
โ€ข Use automated packaging equipment
โ€ข Maintain a clean workspace
โ€ข Complete and maintain forklift certification training (if trained and active forklift operator)
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
โ€ข Participate in LEAN initiatives
โ€ข Participate in company events
โ€ข Be a department Champion; able to assist Supervisor in answering questions and department supervision.
โ€ข Be able to support the GOAT Code as well as fulfillment leadership competencies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prefer high school diploma or equivalency
  • 3 months experience in fulfillment center
  • 3 months experience as a Merchandise Processor
  • Verbal and written comprehension of the English language required
  • Basic math skills required
  • Must be able to apply established procedures and follow oral/written instructions
  • Must be able to work independently without direct supervision and organize/prioritize workload to ensure completion of all tasks within established time frames
  • Must be able to deal with the pressure of meeting production schedules
  • Computer skills, including familiarity with the internet and email required
