Job description

Description:About the Position & Its Impact

This is a Video Editor and Shooter role focused on producing short-form and long-form content across Onsite's therapeutic programs, the Human School podcast, and Miles Adcox's personal brand. Approximately 80% editing and 20% shooting.

But here's what this role really is: you are the person who takes a raw moment of someone's healing, a story that might otherwise live and die in a workshop room, and turn it into something that reaches the next person who needs to hear it. Every clip you cut, every video you shape, has the potential to be the thing that finally gets someone to pick up the phone, sign up for a workshop, or believe their life can look different. That is the weight and the privilege of this work. You're not making content. You're extending the reach of healing.

About the Day-to-Day in This Role
  • Edit short-form and long-form video for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Shoot video on location for programs, testimonials, promotional pieces, and social content
  • Transform raw footage into shareable storytelling that captures attention and drives engagement
  • Build motion graphics and design elements that strengthen the emotional arc of each piece
  • Color grade and audio mix to a polished, professional finish
  • Apply platform-specific best practices to maximize reach and performance
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing, Director of Marketing, and our videographer team to execute creative vision and protect brand consistency
  • Travel weekly from our Nashville office to our Cumberland Furnace, TN facility (about 1 hour) to capture content on site

Please Note: Your application will require a work test as part of the interview process.

Requirements:Ideal Education & Experience for the Role

We are open to candidates of all backgrounds and value capability, craft, and storytelling instincts over a specific degree path. The right person likely brings:

  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong work in both short-form social content and long-form video
  • Proficiency with professional editing software, cameras, and production equipment
  • Strong skills using Adobe Premier
  • Motion graphics and graphic design skills that elevate visual storytelling
  • Color grading and audio mixing experience
  • An intuitive sense of what performs on each social platform
  • A collaborative mindset, able to take direction and contribute creative ideas
  • Self-motivated time management and reliable delivery on deadline
  • A genuine passion for storytelling that helps people on a healing journey
  • A reliable vehicle for weekly travel between Nashville and Cumberland Furnace
