Job description

We're hiring a Part Time Teller to work at the International Falls, Minnesota Border Bank!

As the first point of contact for many customers, you'll help them make the most of their banking relationship by answering questions, processing transactions accurately, identifying customer needs, and educating them on products and services that support their financial goals.

Schedule:
  • Part Time
  • Flexible schedule Monday through Friday
  • Availability on Mondays and Fridays is required

Teller Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and monetary instruments
  • Balance and secure cash drawers while maintaining assigned cash limits
  • Assist with branch capture/proof processes and complete daily operational tasks according to established schedules
  • Process night deposits, mail deposits, currency exchanges, ATM balancing and replenishment, and other branch operational duties
  • Maintain branch equipment and report issues as needed
  • Educate customers on banking products and services, including:
    • Checking Accounts
    • Savings Accounts
    • Certificates of Deposit (CDs)
    • Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
    • Debit Cards
    • Electronic Banking Services
  • Identify opportunities to provide customer-focused solutions while always acting in the customer's best interest
  • Comply with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including:
    • Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
    • Privacy Regulations
    • Funds Availability Regulations

Teller Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to use standard office equipment
  • Ability to accurately count and handle cash
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
