Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel: Not required
Position Introduction:
The Office of International Student Services seeks an International Student Advisor. Provide accurate immigration guidance, federal regulation expertise, and collaborate professionally with students, faculty, and staff.
The University of Oklahoma, as a flagship public institution, is committed to ensuring international students' immigration needs and compliance are met. The Office of International Student Services (ISS) provides excellent support in advising international students on navigating their academic journey and balancing federal regulations. This position will function as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) to ensure immigration needs are provided to international students on the OU campus.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 24 months of of related international experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months of experience. Will also accept a Master's degree and no experience.
