Position Description & Qualifications

Looking for an opportunity at a place where you can have an influence every day? Serco has an exciting opportunity for an International Security Specialist - Mid supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) customer and the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) mission.

In this role, you will provide international security support through coordination, documentation management, action tracking, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with government personnel, contractors, international partners, and the Serco team to support mission execution and ensure security processes are administered effectively. The successful candidate will help maintain security documentation, prepare reports and briefings, support compliance reviews, and contribute to process improvements that strengthen overall program security support.

This position is located on-site in Arlington, Virginia and requires collaboration in a secure, mission-focused environment supporting critical national defense initiatives.

In This Role, You Will:
  • Support international security activities, documentation, coordination efforts, and action tracking.
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining security records, correspondence, briefings, reports, and status updates.
  • Coordinate with government, contractor, Serco, and international stakeholders to support mission execution.
  • Track security actions, suspense items, meetings, deliverables, and customer requirements to ensure timely completion.
  • Support reviews of security-related materials for completeness, consistency, and compliance with customer direction.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements to security documentation and support activities.
  • Maintain administrative processes and document management activities within a secure environment.
  • Prepare and maintain tracking spreadsheets, reports, and briefing materials.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required. Masterโ€™s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience related to international security, facility security, program security, security countermeasures, or other Department of Defense security functions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility preferred.
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance preferred and utilized within the last two years.
  • Experience supporting administrative processes and document management within a secure environment.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with government and contractor personnel.
  • Ability to work on-site in Arlington, Virginia, Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, including CONUS and OCONUS locations as required.
Desired Skills
  • Experience supporting international security programs for Department of Defense organizations.
  • Prior experience working in a secure facility.
  • Prior experience working in a Security Countermeasures environment.
  • Current active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance preferred.
  • Experience preparing reports, briefings, status updates, and tracking spreadsheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing requirements in a dynamic mission-focused environment.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional government and contractor teams.
