As a fully remote role based in Elizabeth, New Jersey, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from your home, managing your own schedule, whether part-time or full-time. This setting allows you to connect with clients across various regions, minimizing geographical barriers to care. You will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals focused on providing support for low-acuity adults who require mental health assistance, effectively utilizing telehealth technologies to ensure quality and accessible care.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions via secure video conferencing, offering ethical and sympathetic counseling that promotes healing and growth.
• Employ solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to the individual needs of clients, assisting them in their journey toward improved mental health.
• Develop, implement, and review comprehensive treatment plans based on client assessments and ongoing progress evaluations.
• Facilitate clients' understanding of their emotions and interpersonal relationships, helping them gain insights and develop effective coping strategies.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on stable, low acuity adults presenting with a diverse range of mental health needs. These may include anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and stress-related issues. Your role will involve providing empathetic support to help clients improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must possess one of the following full licensure: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No limited or provisional licenses, and no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature necessary for effective client engagement.
• Strong proficiency in computer skills, with an ability to navigate telehealth platforms easily.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in teletherapy or those familiar with solution-based therapeutic methodologies will have an advantage in this fast-paced environment. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and a background in community mental health settings will also be beneficial.

This role offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000, dependent on your working hours and guaranteed caseload. Additionally, full-time counselors will receive a monthly healthcare stipend and have the potential for a sign-on bonus. We also provide weekly direct deposits to ensure timely compensation for your work.
