Job description

Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services (www.protecnium.com/en). We are currently looking for a Project Planner/ Scheduler to join our team for a Highway Infrastructure Project in Alpharetta, Georgia, USA (on-site position).

Project: Large-Scale Highway Infrastructure Development

Estimated duration of the position: 24 months In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.

Summary

The Senior Project Planner/Scheduler will support planning and scheduling activities on a large-scale linear infrastructure project. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules, ensuring alignment with construction progress, contractual milestones, and resource planning.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (baseline and updates).
  • Perform schedule analysis, critical path identification, and progress tracking.
  • Coordinate with construction, engineering, and project management teams.
  • Prepare schedule reports and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders.
  • Support delay analysis and mitigation strategies.
  • Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master program.
  • Monitor productivity and forecast project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual scheduling requirements.
  • Ownership of the schedule for a major project segment valued at approximately $1.5B. Development and maintenance of Level 3 and Level 4 schedules.
  • Monthly executive schedule presentations.
  • Schedule recovery and acceleration planning.
  • Risk analysis and schedule forecasting.
  • Interface with owner, JV partners, construction managers and project controls teams.
  • Support claims, change management and time impact analysis
