  • Manage initiatives that drive global expansion, adoption, and innovation in payment products for Amazon's Sellers and Buyers.

  • Collaborate on expanding current product offerings and developing solutions to improve international payment experiences.

Job description

Excited to manage a business with a global reach? Do you want to lead initiatives that will have a significant impact to Amazonโ€™s customer experience and bottom line? The Global Payment Products (GPP) business is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and highly analytical Program Manager with international/cross-border technology experience to drive new and existing initiatives in collaboration with internal and external payment partners, pursue opportunities to expand the current product offering, and develop innovative solutions to help our Sellers around the world get paid with confidence and ease. The Program Manager will have the chance to launch new program and features, own the relationships with partners, drive global expansion, adoption, and innovation to safeguard seller trust for a strategically critical program for Amazon.

The overall GPP business provides a better payment experience for cross-border Buyers and Sellers worldwide and extends Amazonโ€™s reach beyond the borders of our existing Amazon Stores. ACC owns two services: Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers (ACCS) and Amazon Currency Converter for Buyers (ACCB). ACCS enables Sellers to sell in more Amazon Stores by making it easier to get paid in their local currency to their home bank account, thus increasing the number of Sellers and product selection on Amazon marketplaces. ACCB makes it easier for international Buyers to pay in their local currency, improving the international customer experience and increasing the number of customers shopping on Amazon sites. ACC safeguards customer experience, generates free cash flow and directly impacts the Amazon Flywheel.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have successful personal attributes including creativity, leadership, and the ability to influence outcomes both internally and externally. This opportunity requires excellent problem-solving and communication skills. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, self-sufficient and results-oriented.

  • 6+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects, or experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Experience understanding needs of business and end customers and translating them into right solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
