Job description

Abacus Technology is seeking a Program Manager to provide acquisition and advisory services in support of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) PEO Training (AFLCMC/WN) program at Wright-Patterson AFB.ย  This is a full-time position.


  • Provide program management support across the full acquisition lifecycle, including development, production, deployment, and sustainment.
  • Monitor program cost, schedule, and performance; identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support acquisition planning, strategy development, and pre/post-award documentation.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, metrics, reports, and briefings (e.g., DAES, MARs).
  • Assist with milestone planning, Integrated Master Plans (IMP), and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Support senior-level meetings, program reviews, and decision documentation.
  • Analyze acquisition programs and recommend improvements to processes, policies, and execution.
  • Coordinate with DoD, Air Force, and international stakeholders to resolve programmatic issues.
  • Support risk management planning, data analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Assist in managing training systems, including requirements, design, testing, integration, and sustainment.
  • Support Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and Training Systems Analysis (TSA) activities.
  • Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and POM submissions.
  • Assist with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case management, LOA execution, and customer coordination.
  • Prepare and maintain program documentation, reports, briefings, and communications materials.
  • Support inspections, compliance efforts, and emergency management procedures.
  • Assist with event planning, executive support, travel coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Maintain databases, SharePoint sites, and communication plans to support organizational objectives.

12+ years experience in a program or acquisition management role including at least 5 years supporting DoD programs.ย  Bachelorโ€™s degree in a related field.ย ย Experience with PMO operations, acquisition strategy, contract management, and source selection.ย  Knowledge of Agile acquisition, cyber security, and cloud-based solutions.ย  Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes, policies, and life cycle management.ย  Experience with FMS programs, including LOA management and international coordination.ย  Proficient in data analysis, program metrics, and Earned Value Management (EVM). ย Able to communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. ย Experience working with geographically dispersed and multidisciplinary teams. ย Expertise in DoD acquisition frameworks and program evaluation techniques.ย  Strategic thinking with the ability to drive program success and compliance.ย  Must have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and effective communication skills.ย  Able to manage complex acquisition programs and stakeholder relationships.ย  Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, SharePoint). Knowledge of ITAR, foreign disclosure, and international program execution. ย Able to travel CONUS/OCONUS as required. ย Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
