Job description

Robert Half is partnering with a growing organization to find a Logistics Coordinator / International Operations Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This is an exciting role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys problem-solving within complex logistics operations.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving operational issues within the logistics process while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in supporting shipment execution, minimizing delays, and improving internal workflows.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities with urgency and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the company and clients, providing timely and professional communication to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate and manage import/export shipment documentation within a Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Prepare and provide rate proposals by gathering vendor quotes and following established pricing guidelines
  • Assist with sales support activities, including follow-up on quotes and providing logistics-related insights
  • Support onboarding of new customers and maintain accurate data within systems (e.g., CargoWise)
  • Identify process improvements to drive operational efficiency and reduce shipment delays


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and shipping documentation
  • 3+ years of experience in international logistics
  • Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), preferably CargoWise
